Jackson's 2!!

My oh my how the time has flown over the past two years. It's hard to believe our little baby boy is now 2 years old! It's so cliche to say, but it really does seem like just yesterday we were rushing to the hospital and he was a teeny, tiny little bundle of perfection. He's still perfection - just a much bigger and sometimes sassier version! =)

We just finished up a three day extravaganza to celebrate... Thursday party at daycare, Friday fun with Mommy, Daddy and Caroline on Jackson's birthday, and then a Saturday party with all the family over. We were ALL pooped Sunday (and even Monday), but it was all worth it as we had an amazing time!

Birthday Weekend Extravaganza

Whew, what a weekend! Lots to talk about this weekend... let's see, it all begins with Daddy starting to build a deck... the deck nears completion as Mommy nears the big 3-0... deck is UP... family fun at a birthday party... and Mommy is officially 30. Good thing it was a long weekend, we all needed Memorial Day to first thank all those who've served, and second recover from all this excitement!

Wow, it's been a year already since Jackson was born... an absolutely amazing, perfect year spent with wonderful family and friends and the best hubby and son I could ever ask for!

What a day... Jackson and Daddy kept a secret from Mommy this morning - Grandma and Papa were on their way to surprise me for my birthday! We all had a fun day hanging out and playing around. And tomorrow we'll get to see some of the aunties and uncles when we get together before our softball game.

Jackson has been doing a wonderful job eating his rice cereal so we decided Mommy's birthday was a great time to graduate on to trying out some more big boy food - applesauce! As you can see he's not quite sure about the new taste... we'll keep working on it!
