Wiggle Worm

My little wiggle worm is figuring out more and more things every day. After figure out how to roll from his belly to his back, he's now dilligently continuing his efforts at rolling over from his back to his belly! Often that leaves him on his side, which has become a new favorite position of his. I've even caught him sleeping on his side at night lately, too! He's also discovered the art of putting his hands together - and in his mouth - too! Oh, and for those of you who might be curious, we did manage to get a couple of good shots last night at the photographer's, so in a couple of weeks we'll have new "professional" pics to share!

Those Baby Blues

I know I've said it before, but I just have to say it again... I LOVE these smiling baby blue eyes! I mean really, how stinkin adorable are they?! And the expressions, well that's just icing on the cake! Now, everyone cross your fingers that the little man is this happy when we go try to get his 3-month pictures taken again today (yes, "again", as in we went on Monday and he was having NONE of that picture business!).

3 Months Already?!?!

Can you believe it... Jackson is three months old already! I for one think these past three months have just flown by, and way too quckly at that. He's almost doubled his weight and is somewhere around 13 pounds, is holding his head up and even starting to roll over... and he has the most amazing smiles and laughs, and his pouty face is actually pretty darn cute, too. Can't wait to see what he does next! Oh, and did you know it was St. Patty's Day? =)

Rock n Roll

He did it! Jackson rolled over for the first time on Tuesday... and Mommy was lucky enough to catch it on camera (well not the first roll, but the one right after that). Not the greatest view, but hey he was movin so fast when I put him on his tummy it was hard to catch him! =)

Testing Out the Jumperoo

Jackson loves to bounce and jump when he's being held, so now that he has improved so much with his head control, we've started to let the little man hang out in the jumperoo. No, he's not really tall enough to get it really "jumpin" yet, but he does get it moving a little bit and he loves to watch anything with flashing lights. We're still in the early stages, though. Sometimes he's super happy baby in it like this...

And sometimes he's just really not diggin it like this...

We're sure though that once his little legs are long enough to actually reach the floor and give a good bounce, he'll like it a lot more. Until then, we'll keep at it as we work the jumperoo into our toy selection!

Movie Monday

I've decided that today is a "Movie Monday" on the blog. So, first up we have Daddy and Jackson playing.

And then we have a quick snippet of Stacy and Maddy singing "Wheels on the Bus" from our week up at Mama and Papa's house!

Lazy Sunday

Hmm... what have we done lately. Well, we had a fabulous time Friday with Daddy - Jackson and Daddy both wore their Cat shirts to celebrate the chance for some father/son bonding - and we took advantage of the beautiful weather to take Jackson for a walk in his stroller.

Coordinating Cat Shirts!

Out for a stroll...
After some more fun playing and chilling on Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Tautkus came down for a visit Saturday night and watched Jackson while Mommy and Daddy went out for dinner... our first without the little man! And yes, we all survived. =) Then on Sunday, Uncle Chris and Aunt Stephie came over for a little while to hang out and get their Jackson fix, too.

Unfortunately, Mommy didn't do so good on getting new pictures with everyone, so instead here's one of Jackson playing on his tummy and working on holding up his head... he's getting pretty good at it, and doesn't usually cry right away when we lay him down anymore!

Happy Friday

Daddy took the day off of work today to stay home and play with us... hopefully that will help Jackson forget about that "mean old nurse" at the doctor's office, who had to give him the last of his two-month immunizations yesterday. Poor little guy had a rough time last night, but he's doing good today, and that definitely makes it a happy friday!

A Day for Relaxing

After a great week up at Mama and Papa's in Morrison, it's nice to be home and relaxing. We have lots and lots of pictures which I promise to go through and post soon. For now, I'll leave you with this super-cute video of Jackson and aunt Stacy...
