April Recap Part 2 - Easter!

Yes, I know it's May now... I'm going with the "better late than never" approach!

We enjoyed a 4-day Easter weekend up and Gramma and Papa T's house... a couple of rainy days, but also a couple of very nice days that let us get outside and have some fun!

Big project of the weekend - because really, when do we not have a project of some sort going on?! - was putting up Gramma's swingset! Good thing Papa T has his new Gator, not only was it good for hauling around swingset lumber, Jackson of course had a great time going for rides!

Here's Jackson helping out the guys with the tower, making sure everything is measured just right... measure twice and cut once, you know!

Yep, that's right... little missy gets pretty much anywhere she wants these days! Oh boy, time for the baby gates again...

April Recap Part 1

April seems to have flown right by... it was a busy month, lots of fun and exciting things. So many, in fact, that I've completely neglected updating the blog. Ooops. Just keep in mind instead I was off having a great time with my hubby, kiddos and often family and friends!

We tried to take advantage of nicer weather as much as possible... the boys have started a garden project this year. I'm not sure how it will work out, since the spot chosen for the garden was selected mainly because Daddy couldn't get grass to grow there and was tired of seeing the "bald spot" in the lawn. Here's crossing our fingers the plants do better with Jackson's green thumb added to the mix!

It's not all work though, definitely still time to play... check out Jackson crusing in his completely studly trike...

And little miss Caroline... believe it or not, this little cutie patootie turned SEVEN months old

Laundry, Anyone?

Laundry seems to be a lot more fun these days. I wonder why?...

Welcome Spring!

Our little woman is 6 months old! She and big brother are two photogenic little munchkins!

Irish Cuties

Okay, not Irish... but we'll consider them Irish cuties for today! =)

Caroline is getting so big! She's been eating cereal for a little bit now, and now that we're back to being healthy she's really starting to enjoy it, woohoo!

Think back a couple of years... remember "Birthdays and Applesauce"?

Well, tonight it was little sister's turn to try out big girl applesauce for the first time... what do you think the verdict was? =)

Guess we'll have to keep trying! If she's anything like her brother, she'll be loving it in no time at all!

It's Caroline's first Valentine's Day... and she is STYLIN the red tutu with her "heartbreaker" big brother Jackson! =)

Sunday Fun

A little Sunday fun at the Tautkus house... a "heat wave" went through and temps went above freezing, so Caroline and Mommy "exercised" in the house while the boys played in the snow outside!
